Insurers can use Arnie as a standalone cloud-based platform with access to industry parts lists and car valuation guides or integrate it with a variety of systems, including insurer policy systems. When paired with policy systems, all claim details are populated within Arnie so the claims management team can easily begin the repair fulfilment process. Arnie’s reporting module can import multiple systems’ data into a single database for multi-dimensional analysis. Arnie also works with repairer and salvage agent quoting and invoicing software. Repairers who don’t have a quotation package can upload quotes to the system, fax or email directly to the insurer. Arnie automatically recognises faxes or emails and attaches them directly to the claim.
Transparent repairer selection
Arnie links to over 14,000 registered repairers and makes it easy to choose the best repairer for every claim. Arnie provides a responsive selection of auto repairers based on geographic location, job size, vehicle type and past performance. Performance is measured by how quickly the jobs are turned around and the quality of workmanship. Performance measures and competitive quotes, supplemented by industry parts lists, ensure fair pricing and on-time, on-budget work once the job is awarded. Insurers can also analyse which repair shops receive a larger than average share of work, enabling them to negotiate for preferential pricing plans.
Requests for quotes
Automatic requests for quotes can be sent to an individual shop or multiple shops for a competitive quote. Repairers submit quotes with supporting documentation in the system and Arnie automatically creates a task for an independent, on-road or in-house assessor to review and approve the quote. Vehicle damage images, complete vehicle details, electronic valuation and parts pricing are included to assist with the decision. Any supplements or updates to quotes are highlighted by the system.
